The goofiness of the video editing in this video is distracting.

And now with with INSERTS for the 402-VLZ3! Search for "INSERTS FX 402-VLZ3"
Stay tuned for portable battery operation... 8-)

having owned the 802 for a while now, hooked up to an M-Audio 192 interface it's a very very reliable mixer, for sound quality I'd give it 9 out of 10. However, I'm now thinking of getting a mixer from the onyx-i range, as I can clearly see the extra benefits with owning the 802 for a year or two, it'd be nice to be use firewire as well as analog at the same time

Can I use my Alesis NanoVerb 18-Bit Digital Effects Processor with Mackie 402-VLZ3??
-
@mackietv nah man the SRM450 is much better than the thumps

can you plug a dynamic mic or guitar into channel 3/4?
@mackietv
hi, i have 3 synth modules and a pc i want to hook up to a mixer, using stereo channels where possible. would the 802 be suitable?
TootAzraqIndustries 5 months ago
@TootAzraqIndustries Sure. Channels 3/4 5/6 and 7/8 are stereo already. Synths could go there with 1/4 connections. The PC could go a couple of different places, depending on the connections you have. If you have 1/4 outs, you could use channels 3/4. If it's just a RCA out, you can use the Tape in also. So, yes, ample room.

How does the 402 Get power if there is no wall plug or battery, Will it work well with my RODE NT1-A Microphone well.
GDTelevision 1 year ago
@GDTelevision the 402-VLZ3 most certainly plugs into the wall. I wish we had a mixer that could power without that pesky cord! There is onboard phantom power, so you can easily hook up your nice NT1

@muaythaibest1 The Mackie 402-VLZ3 is NOT powered. You would need an amplifier to connect to passive speakers. If you want to see a POWERED mixer, check out the PPM608. Or you could look into a pair of POWERED speakers like the Mackie TH-15As....the 402-VLZ3 could hook straight into speakers like that
