These are just a few scenes from my first short film I co-wrote, directed, and acted in with my talented friend, Steven Lock and John Chisholm. I played an obnoxious, sarcastic boss. It's the story of a down on his luck guy who at first doesn't get a job he wants, goes home and kills a home intruder, which rejuvenates him and the next day he gets the job. Hey, cut me some slack . It's a short. Hollywood I miss you.

  • I love the arm!

  • I love the arm!

  • Interesting ending. I am still thinking about it.

  • We used a seperate mic. You have to have a boom mic to make it more professional. It's the best way.

  • also, do you use a separate mike or just the one on the camera. im having a lot of trouble with wind blowing into the mike, and im looking for a one that i could possibly just hang over my actors or one to pin on collars.

  • I think it is just the camera. It is more expensive and therefore higher quality resolution.

  • yeah, by style i mean just the type of dialogue and acting. the way everyone in character is completely serious, but what their unique actions and corks make them funny. this is one of your first shorts, but it really shines through

We shoot mostly in Texas. most of our stuff is from one or two years ago, so im not too proud of it. getting rid of a few of our bad actors proves to help though. new stuff coming soon.

is there a specific lens your using, or is it just the camera?

  • Cool. But what is my style? Or do you mean the style of film, because we shot it with a higher quality camera or is it the dialogue and acting. Please inform. Also, where do you shoot? I'm in NY.
