How To Use Gan Ning's Musou

Here's a short video showing how to use Gan Ning's musou against officers. When used correctly, and mastered, his musou should be able to kill officers in just one musou, without the assistance of ice.

Sorry, I had to show all three times with weapon and items proof. Guess it wouldnt hurt to show the Chaos proof too.

4th weapon:
In DW5, without the True Way of Musou, it'll take him two musous to kill without ice.
But in XL, the aim is to hit officers 4 times, in two "run-throughs" (Sorry, couldnt think of a better way of saying it) You have to always approach from the right side since his blade is held on his left side. Turn just as you pass the officer, and it shouldn't be too hard to get two hits. After this is the harder part, because after the first two hits, the officer will be on the ground. You have waste a little bit of time before attempting to hit the officer another two times. It is best to time it so that he hits the officer just as he gets up. It is easier to see and hear the 4 hits on Man Chong, than it is on Zhu Ling. Hitting officers with 4 hits of his musou with his 4th weapon, is almost enough to kill officers in one musou. Oh and, Zhu Ling had a little more health than Man Chong did because Tactician/Strategy type officers have a bit less health than all other regular officers. Using the fact that his C6 can be consistently unblockable, and if his musou filling process is done against officers in crowds, then after one C6, his musou will take care of the rest. This is why Gan Ning should be considered a consistent, one-musou-KO character.

A More Ideal Weapon:
With a maxed out medium weapon with attack on it, he'll take out regular officers with just his musou. But against playable officers, the result is almost the same as with his 4th weapon against regular officers; Playable officers are left with a bit of health. Again, musou filling with his C6 should ensure that a playable officers get defeated in one musou.

It is however, possible to kill playable officers in JUST one musou, but you have to hit them with 5 hits. And this is very hard to do. You need to hit the officer once on the first run-through. This will keep the officer disoriented but still on the ground. Then aim the next two run-throughs to hit 4 times.

yes, its hard if you dont know how to maximize your characters.

it's still hard in a sense, that you cannot afford for mistakes to happen, but ya...with customization in mind, the top 48 characters lol, can make Chaos a walk in the park...

Im nailing Sun Ce and Huang Gai as bottom tier characters.

but even they can be capable of owning chaos.

reset their stats by making a CAW, and keep the musou bar at a minimum, and that's all you need

@DW5chaosmodeguide It's extremely strict and tricky though. Using his middle of body to run through the middle of targets' body. So hmm this can kill playable officers w/ o ice in one musou

um...that's the best way that's actually practical.

There is a better way and it's hitting 5 times, I think its shown in this video, or at least buried somewhere in comments.

You purposely hit only once on the first run through, so that you can make a sharper turn on the first circle. Then make the next run through two hits.....gets the officer into the air, so before the third run through, you need to kill some time, then make the third run through two hits.
