PercaDu plays winter from Vivaldi's seasons, recorded live at the Tel-Aviv museum of art on the 03/05/2007 with the Israeli Chamber Orchestra dir: Nitzan Leibovitz
SImplemente fabuloso, exitos maestros, felicitaciones, espero algun dìa tener el honor y el privilegio de compartir un escenario, saludos desde Quetzaltenango, Guatemala, Centro América.
Ivanhoe Grammar school in Australia played this with no orchestra. All parts. Mind blowing. The orchestra drowns out the marimbas and sound too muddy, but excellent anyway
They're on - I just don't agree with the interpretation, go listen to the many string recordings. Maybe that's just my opinion but I believe when we take the classical lit to the marimba, we should take at least some (not all) of the original intent the composer was thinking of when writing for a specific instrument.

Solid interpretation and dynamics that are not often conveyed in this piece, but too laboriously slow of a tempo. I don't hear the pitter patter until mid-way through.
Vivaldi is rocking! =)
