  • We are talking about two different era here. The 70s was a laid back soul genre. 80s was POP. Of Course Wham version will have more snap. I've known Ronald and Rudolph Isley for over 10 yrs. I can tell you that there are countless POP/Rock bands that have covered their Originals. Ronald is One of a Kind. The Isley Brothers are the only group to expand and hit the charts from 50s til today. Elton John and Jimi Hendrix was once band members.

  • This is a great song for the isleys and wham

  • TOP CLASS....this and the Wham Cover.

  • The 3+3 lineup! Ernie Isley was such a genius, he played the drums, guitar and co wrote the songs!

  • the very reason why my childhood was better than anyone born after 1975..f--king BRILLIANT!!!!

  • Both versions are great actually....the Isleys' version is just more earthy and organic sounding, and Wham's version is more 80s synth pop.

  • Come the 70's!

  • absolutely factastic piece of SOUL

  • off 3+3 best LP i've ever bought (1973)
