Les 5 chantiers dont le premier est les transports de Kinshasa. L'avenue de Poids-lourds débouche directement sur le boulevard du 30 juin, centre ville, quartier d'affaires.

We are launching a video campaign on the current state of the economy in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Five fields have been identified by the current government and the first on the list is transportation. Here we hear from the people on the streets of the country's capital, Kinshasa: they wait on average three hours for their public transport! The road conditions...see for yourself. Please remember that this is the richest country in the world, and also the one currently most colonized by corporate greed. It is a country at the mercy of Canadian financial markets and mainly US -but also UK, South African, Belgian multinationals (READ ALAIN DENAULT, NOIR CANADA on these recent corporate human rights abuses in AFRICA) , so there are deeper, complex reasons why the roads do not work...and why every month still today 45,000 people die in the eastern part of the country due to war related reasons. We are looking for further video footage for the campaign as a counter-celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Democratic Republic of Congo to take place in Brussels, Belgium 30 June 2010. Totally agree with you!! Food sovereignty is the way to go! Also organize campaigns to boycott subsidized EU food being imported into your country. In Cameroon (on internet you can read pdf " No Chicken Please") they are informing people not to eat the meat coming from Europe.

3)Je ne dis pas que notre gouvernement est parfait loin de la mais je pense qu'il aurait pu etre pire.

Alors je vous laisse cogiter et essayer de trouver des solutions viables pour notre pays je pense que ca sera mieux et plus constructif. Pensez au bien etre etre de nos jeunes laissez de coté vos ambitions separatistes.

A Congolese friend told me this bad chicken is also present now in Lubumbashi and people buy it cause its cheap, in reality its cheat food and there are rising cases of breast cancer, which was absent prior to this meat being sold on the markets. Also good for DRC is the SLOW FOOD movement were local producers are helped for local production, not for the food to be exported.

wow! hope u are not Congolese!! Yes, I suggest an Egyptian like revolution, since Kabila should go. Your economy is unfortunatley decided in Canada's financial markets . Please read Alain Denault Noir Canada, to get an insight into the companies colonizing the DRC.

2)Alors au lieu de jouer le jeu des etrangers,donnez des solutions pour notre pays sortez de vos bars allez developper notre pays creez des emplois un avenir pour nos jeunes au lieu de mener notre congo vers le pourrissement!! La on vous voit plus quand il s'agit d'aider.

3) Je vous rappelle auci que depuis 50 ans nous ons libres. On a rien fait serieusement de ces 50 ans,beaucoup d'congolais sont toujours incapables .Un demi siècle d'indépendance n'est certes pas rien.Il ne faut pas prendre 15 ans d'kabila comme un bloc monolithique. Mais crois moi, si on n'arrete pas l'hemorragie rien ne se fera !!!
