Yes, it was in an interview a long time ago where Ozzy was talking about writing some of the material for the Blizzard of Ozz album. Ozzy said he had some musical idea in his head, so he called over Randy to explain it to him, and that idea became Goodbye to Romance. There is a live show of Randy playing with Quiet Riot and he clearly plays a part in his solo that would become Goodbye to Romance. You can also hear where the idea for Suicide Solution, You Lookin at Me and Crazy Train comes from.

Remember, the only true versions of Blizzard of OZZ and Diary of a Madman are the 1980-81-95 originals, so they're the ones to listen too if you want to hear the real thing. A lot of the music for Mr. Crowley was Randy's idea then Bob and Rhoads worked on the music together. The vocal melody was Ozzy's and Bob Daisley wrote the lyrics. That was the case with most of the songs on Blizzard of Ozz. The same on Diary except that Lee worked on those songs with them and came up with some of the vocal melodies. BOB DAISLEY wrote all the lyrics for Blizzard of Ozz, Diary of a Madman, Bark at the Moon, Ultimate Sin, and No Rest for the Wicked.

  • The First Two are from Laughing Gas. Licks from that solo became parts of Crazy Train and Goodbye to Romance

Force of Habit became Suicide Solution

Breaking Up is a Heartache became solo for You Lookin at me Lookin at you.

Keep listening. You will hear 10,000 similarities in licks that Randy made with Ozzy that came from Quiet Riot.

  • @JacobSmithUK No It Was To Albums Of Hard Rock That Became Metal With The to Ozzy Records

  • Song at 3:09 became "You Said It All"

  • so quiet riot was a demo of the ozzy Osborne band in a way

  • The third Quiet Riot song sounds like No Bone Movies to my ears.

  • Actually, the first melody is more akin to "Dee" on Blizzard of Ozz than Goodbye to Romance- ozzy came up with the melody to goodbye to romance

  • rahndy rhoads was a great guitarist he died way to soon though

  • @stoptherobot nope. (if by real blizzard you mean the one with Bob and Lee) If you wanna hear them live, I have their only live album together on my channel

  • Hey Bob

daisley didn't write all the lyrics

Ozzy wrote the first line of Suicide Solution "Wine is fine but whiskey's quicker"

  • i read that randy just re wrote some of his stuff while in ozzys band
