"The Owin' Song" is a simple, yet profound, Gospel song that uses a question-and-question banter format to explore both our micro and macro universe.

The original idea is Dan's, growing up in once rural NJ, and his observation that humanity has never seen the dark side of the moon; Gods thumbprint on creation.

The original lyrics and music were written in 1984 by Al Curving and Dan Laurie, and registered with the US Copyright Office in 1985 under the title "Who's Keepin' Things Goin'? as part of the album Slices of Life in Story 'n Song Volume 1; and revised to this version in 2009.

Note the following correction to the slide credited to the Vatican: ID number 2950524694_6d6e90a78e, "Detail From Michelangelo's 'The Creation of Adam' Sistine Chapel Ceiling, Vatican City, Rome, Italy; the proper credit should go to Ben Ward in Hove, England through Yahoo's Flicker account. God bless, and be well.
