its aviation witch is on usb not on ham all maritime and avaiation is on USB you will find !

Below 20m you need to switch to LSB !!!!!!!

Nothing wrong with your 570 the transmissions on 5mhz are nether lsb/usb i have heard them before maybe digital i dont know put that 570 on 80 or 40 and i bet its fine.

what have you tried in diagnosing the fault. it sounds like your of Chanel. the ssb is an optional adding board if i remember well with this rig. so it could have drifted. stick it on frequency counter see what the figures are like think this rig shifts in 5hz increments and theres a fine tuner in menus try that not sure mind you.

your right just got the rig back from the menders i was bad solder joints on the resistor ladder network to the digital to analogue conveter on the sub pll sythersisor
