questionable call #23 6/7/2008 and hilarious 2-0 swing lol

@sportskid2007: No, not after the play is dead, and you don't have to go back to the mound. Just go directly to the base, step on it and tell the umpire you're appealing the runner's touch of first base.

is the job for the umpire to watch to see what happen, if he thought he miss he did. He could of miss is yes, could of got it right yes? it his job to call it. Now after i stop it and zoom in a bit, i can see his foot cleary on bag. but it seem so far.

I remember when runner job first base and i called runner out. coach or manager went nuts.

Ok what I meant was you hit the bag with your heel and dig with your toes in the dirt. So its right I was wrong for saying it that way. This is the thing these guys are in Little League. He has pretty good mechanics for being that young. I looked at the video over and over and it appears too me he hit the corner but its so close that ump should have never made the call. I have seen runners miss the bag so bad that you can see it from the outfield. I played on all the all star teams.
