1988 Chrysler New Yorker Landau

This is my 1988 Chrysler new yorker, it was my first car, and it is my daily driving car.
It is a great old car, runs great, every thing engine wise is great and never had any problems with the engine since I got it. the body is not in great shape, but it could be worse.
it has 164 000 something kms thats about 102 miles I think.
has a 3.0L V6 the engine is a Mitsubishi 6G7, giving it 141hp 172 ft -ib torque, is what Wikipedia says.

ok year old idfc right now an please respond back i have an 88 new yorker landau myself i wanna know if you have wire tags on what wire is which so a new radio can be installed an shit cause im sittin here looking all over the place tryin an im losing hope right now an bad...sides nothing is ever on the radio so please for the love of goddess...gimme ANY info you can PLEASE!!!

@shadowkitX what about the radio, you don't cut into the wires, you buy a wire kit thing, and you plug it into the one that plugged into the old radio, and then it will give you all the wires you need to hook it out to your new radio, just match the colors.

is that what your asking?

I used to have one just like that! That's totally not a landau though! The landau had the padded rear roof section.

@streetvan1 I was just going by what it said in the owners manual thing it said 1988 Chrysler new yorker Landau so thats what i was going by.

I just bought a 1988 new yorker landau with a 3.0 litre engine. I find it very dead compared to my 1993 chrysler new yorker 5th avenue. Only about 14 kg. difference in weight. Is yours a 3 litre or 3.3?

@diamondtia Mine had a 3.0L engine it was a Mitsubishi 6G72 thats the engine they have. the engine was not even made by chrysler. kinda odd. but oh well.

I no longer have the car now. I kinda miss it now. it was a good reliable little car. and only a baby only had like 164 000kms. thats a about 102 000 miles.

i think so its my first car an idk jack crap installing a radio an im slowly tryin to find info for i do anything with it so anything will help at this point in time cause i looked at my wires an they are different colors left an right an im sittin here clueless tryin to figure out which is which an all so anything works for me...

I had one that I bought new in 1988. One of the three best cars I've ever owned. That Mitsu OHC V6 sounds great. This nice car chose it's owner carefully!
