  • theres really no point in comparing these airlines, Hawaiian is a Hawaii based service, Air pacfic is a Fiji based service. So theres no point in comparing, mostly FiJi people will choose Air Pacific, and Hawaii people will choose Hawaiian Airlines. If you compared 2 different airlines from Fiji or Hawaii, then it would be better.

  • Air pacific is better in this video

  • @tyiokepa then you've never gone an Air Pacific Flight......thats the best thing about Air Pacific crew.

  • @belauidid No dude Air Pacific is Fijian

  • Hawaiian Air does suck

  • hawaiian looks more colourful..air pacific is good too ...i've heard about air pacific but never been in it..hope to get into hawaiian airlines one day as well

  • HAWAIIAN!!

  • @767Seatwarmer ,,they're both hawaiian

  • @767Seatwarmer A lot of circumstance to do with that, Hawaiian hasn't done a lot of flying in extreme environments like many other US airlines have.

But as far as how "safe" Hawaiian is... well I remeber one flight they did where they departed HNL in a 717 with less than the minimum fuel required (DISP RLS 10,000; ACTUAL 5,800) to complete the flight and had to turn around and get some more. Never seen or heard of anyone do that (at least not to that degree) before.

  • @767Seatwarmer HAL primarily serves an interisland market, in the time since I wrote that comment they are starting to expand into Asia, but the 717 operation is a commuter operation in every sense of the word.

Furthermore 2 airlines which are traditionally considered "regionals/commuters" (Republic and Skywest) fly more passengers annually than Hawaiian does in 2-3 years, so "size" means nothing, it's the type of operation, and the 717 operation is (again) a commuter operation.

  • @archer49d Hawaiian is the 9th largest US (MAJOR) airlines. Commuter I think not!

  • @belauidid Just to set you straight Hawaiian is celebrating 81 years in buisness which makes it the oldest US airline, certificate number 0005. Hawaiian also has the number 1 best safety record hands down than any us air carrier.

Oh! and that convertable 737 that the fusalge blew off in flight, that was Aloha airlines not Hawaiian get your facts straight.
