VIIV宣言

June 4, 1989, the tiananmen incident, will be remembered as a black day in chinese history, a day when a country's government fired upon its people, people who were fighting for what they felt was best for their country, fairness and justice.

the chinese people are proud of an unbroken history that stretches back 5000 years and chinese history should not by whatever colour, be broken by forgetfulness and ignorance. here we see it as our duty to preserve the continuity of chinese history, to remember and to commemorate this black day.

so it is with respect for those who were sacrificed and with the dignity of an ancient culture that we offer our voices in remembrance of the tiananmen incident, on that june 4, 1989.


一九八九年六月四日，中國歷史上最黑暗的一天：中央政府下令軍隊向自己的人民扣下槍桿的扳機。

這群人只是在爭取對國家最重要的東西﹕公平及公義。

華人常提及自身五千年的悠長歷史，為歷史而自豪。在我們看來，我們有責任提及歷史的真相。

為了向事件中的受害者表達尊重，我們在此以我們的聲音去表達對天安門事件的哀悼。
