Flashy registered halter horse with high powered pedigree - Kid Clu, Coosa, Obvious Conclusion. Has placed in almost every halter class (CSHSA) entered in 2009. Won AQHA Halter Grand Champion in Novice Amateur 9/2009. Would be great for teenager showing in halter. HYPP N/H non-symptomatic. Started under saddle with 75 days of professional training. Needs experienced, confident rider. Selling because I want to show in WP and need a finished horse. Will consider trade.

HYPP is something to be concerned about. My friend owns a gelding that has had episodes, although he tested N/H. I think he has had all and all 2 episodes in his life. He is 7, but their muscles contract and they can't move their limbs, and they fall where ever they are. It is a very serious and lethal disease. Just be sure to keep any horse that tests positive stress free and fed well daily.

my Gelding (out of Impressive), born in 2000 tested HYPP free, however thru the years he slowly started showing more and more symptoms and actually started suffering.  We retired him at 10 years old, he is now on a farm in Iowa.. very sad!! So, yes HYPP is definitely something to be concerned about

HYPP is definitely something to be concerned about !! My gelding (2000) tested HYPP negative in 2003 however, he started displaying all the signs and we had to retire him very young.. he was only 10 years old.!!

HYPP N/H is nothing to be scared of, We have three gelding that are n/h, if you keep them stress free and feed them a well rounded pellet feed you won't have any episodes.

HYPP N/H non-symptomatic doesn't mean she's symptom free..it just means she hasn't had an episode YET. It could very well happen.
