Video editing would be good to get a proper trailer going too, and hopefully a better video frame rate if I record smaller segments and stitch them together. The game itself runs at a smooth 60fps. The boss explosions have been updated, and I've chopped memory usage to 32mb according to task manager.
@andy00black thanks, I'm getting really good inspiration and atmosphere from your games too. Thanks for the advice as I am going to release soon, and once it is out I i will post you a link. I've been thinking of ways to spice up the explosions in general, but have realised that only the boss explosions needs some particle spillage and perhaps more flames in the gaps. My main concern is trialling a procedural mode which should be interesting if I get time.

The boss explosion (at like 3:30+) looks kinda weak though. Maybe retool it a bit to give it some more energy or something?
