nah this isn't it... trying to find a game on PS1 whit the turn based battle system. very similar to final fantasy. but something very distinct to the game is that it feautered blitzball. The special ability each character got into the game was to be able to turn into dragon-like things... but I can't find it!

I can't stand RPG's but the World FFX is set in, the score and the characters is almost dream-like, it's beautiful stuff!

This is PS2 game.
Final Fantasy VII, VIII, and IX were for PS1.
Trains were at least in Final Fantasy VII and VIII.
