Feb 26 - After My First Video Shoot

I have taken on a contract for a video project during 2011. It's a "roaming reporter" kind of idea, where I showcase local events and attractions on behalf of a business in Nipawin, SK. Super cool! I basically show up to an event/attraction and film away!

I guess I shouldn't make it sound quite so easy-peasy. I'm also the sole organizer, interviewer, camera operator, PR person, and video editor. From start to finish, it's more work than you might realize. But so far, so good! I'm having fun with it!

Today was filming Day One. I've learned that the day-of filming process is 1 part social skills, 1 part image, and 2 parts techie-geek. Right on! Totally up my alley!
