US media watchdog Media Matters has declared Fox's Glenn Beck the Misinformer of the Year. However, Fox's ratings have gone up as CNN's have declined. What does this say about the state of TV news in the US. Is information being sacrificed for entertainment?

  • @daviddevall It's amazing how nearly 100 years later the majority of people in this country still haven't demanded a stop to military adventurism, and war profiteering.

  • You guys win because your intelligent. I can't watch the American ones because they insult my intelligence.

I am in Panama and a Canadian who knows what news should be. Unfortunately the cable here has not figured out that fact that we don't want all this American crap on tv just because it is english speaking.

I use the internet for all news. Yours for me is tops.

  • I used to like RussiaToday, but the more I watch the more obvious it becomes that this station is going to do nothing but push propaganda which benefits the Russian state.

  • @saudertim1 Sorry bud, these guys have an agenda and seek to report to those ends. Don't be fooled by this propaganda machine. While Glen Beck is indeed more fear monger than I would choose, Media Matters is a left wing hatchet group owned by George Soros.

  • "Now go, write it before them in a table, and note it in a book, that it may be for the time to come for ever and ever: That this is a rebellious people, lying children, children that will not hear the law of the LORD...Wherefore thus saith the Holy One of Israel, Because ye despise this word, and trust in oppression and perverseness, and stay thereon: Therefore this iniquity shall be to you as a breach ready to fall, swelling out in a high wall, whose breaking cometh suddenly at an instant."

  • It's not about who's providing unbiased news anymore.

It's about who mixes in the LEAST amount of bias in their news

  • @allgoo19 The Creature from Jekyll Island by G. Edward Griffin is a good place to start. There are some videos here on youtube under that title. the book is over 500 pages take can be tedious but he makes a compelling case against banking as it's done today

  • @mjbarrowful "fed was created and designed for the purpose of consolidating the banks and funding wars."

    Never heard of that.

    Where's your (unbiased)source?

  • @allgoo19 This is simply false. the fed was created and designed for the purpose of consolidating the banks and funding wars. This is a scam to benefit corporations. You have the cause and effect backwards. In order to address corporatism, you have to change monetary policy
