  • does the welded diff hold good..? doesnt break

  • Have not had any problems with it since i welded it up. I welded it up cause i broke the spider gears. I like it so much i did it to my other one befor it broke.

  • @alkwj depends on how good of a welder you are, cause i am a welder by trade...

  • hey man can you explain a little bit how you made your gas pedal im trying to make one for mine

  • I use a brake cable for a bicycle and ran it to the governor. Use a pedal that returns on it's own due to the governor will not be able to return the pedal back. The governor will not return unless the motor is running so don;t use it to start the mower use stock throttle to start then put it in a low RPM then use the pedal

  • Awesome! What size pulleys are you running? Any governor mods? I'd like to get 45 or so outta mine, but I don't want to screw with the governor.

  • @hondas4lunch Accctully thats the worst way to do it put the cable in where the throttle goes so you dont fuck up your engine and burn rings also thats a goodway to get some fucked up backfires too id just put it in the throttle peice and then put a return spring on the throttle peice to pull it back to idle

  • what have you guys all done to that.. im trying to get mine done like that so i can have fun in the winter.

  • @hondas4lunch that wat i say run it till the gears wear out then weld them solid!!!!

  • @dirtscooterer06 i wud use a string and tie it to the throttle and make a pully thing and atach it to the pedal

  • man i used to have one of these and they sound like an m-80 when they pop after you put a stack on'em

  • Hey i have a stock weedeater i hooked a string to the governor and i can peel the tires for a city block. i was wondering if u guys could do that even tho u dnt have the torque any more?

  • @dirtscooterer06 yea, use a bicycle cable but put it to the governer "Housing" thing where the throttle origionally goes to, then put a spring from it to the frame or somewhere solid for a quick release.

  • LOL..nice! i remember doing the samething when i was younger, mine had pretty much the same throttle set up as yours...i remember i rigged a harley pipe on it..lol. it sounded pretty mean to, but i eventually wore it out from allot useful fun. aughh memories...thumbs up!!

  • and his wife still wonders why the grass lays uncut.....
