The homing attack could be used under stages to stall or get to the other side of the stage. On some stages your able to mix up wall jumps with it. And Sonic's has three good recovery options.
1. spin dash (side b)
2. double jump
3. homing attack (b)
4. spring (up+b)
And something I did not include in the video. Sonic's f-air after up+b gives him a tiny bit more horizontal distance. Sonic's recovery game is great!

  • As long as Sonic is near a area of land, he can home attack stall continously, even if the opponent is super far from you, it will still work.

  • Sometimes I have problem Stalling, Sometimes it targets downward and sometimes goes to an opposite direction where my opponent can hit me.

    Any Advice?

  • Tapping the B button makes Sonic release his Homing Attack earlyer.

    I bet you knew that.

  • so wait...as long as sonic makes contact...he can keep homing, rogardless of what he hits?
