@magmaRoo7 Disney acquired the rights in 1996. More episodes were produced by Disney than by Nickelodeon.

Lyric Question that's driving me crazy:
2:39 - "I guess it kind of surprised me (SURPRISE!) ________ Patty, The Guys and Skeet. That the best friends a kid could imagine were at 21 Jumbo Street!"

Very interesting list of celebrities. Can you explain how the rotating parts of the stage got changed to different scenes (i.e. the journal turned around and later became the concert scene, etc)? It seems like those would be large "sets" to move onto rotating platforms.

@qscott86 There were 5 or 6 techs moving the set pieces on and off. They weren't that heavy.

@luvdabuff, I have a few more questions. Did Jim Jinkins, any Disney bigwigs like Michael Eisner or Weiss, or any celebrities ever attend your show? What was the backstage area like? How did the parts of the stage get changed to different scenes (i.e. the journal to the school/concert)? I still don't understand how you all jumped out of that journal without tripping.

@qscott86 Jim Jinkins was very involved in the creation of the show. He came in during the rehearsal process and for the opening and closing. Michael Eisner did see the show. Celebrities I remember include Gary Sinise, Laurie Metcalf, Ricki Lake, George Lucas, Dr. Drew, Christina Aguilera, the Olsen twins, a couple of the Lawrence brothers and some other Disney stars I didn't know, among others. Backstage was like a typical theater

How did the projection work on this ride? Were there multiple projectors or just one?
