  • Well done. I learned a lot of this the hard way. Good job.

  • I broke off a pvc "collar" removing a garbage disposal underneath a sink, what's the best way to remove that broken piece of collar from the "incoming" pvc pipe so I can re-attach the disposal?

  • nice video works great on my saltwater fitting

  • If the elbow is leaking then it should be replaced. If you have enough leeway you can cut the PVC on both ends where it joins the elbow and just install a new elbow. If you aren't a perfectionist about it like me, you can go to the hardware store and get a stick of plumbers putty. It's usually gray with black core but I've seen it green on tv. Cut some off and kneed it, then apply before it hardens. This stuff gets rock hard fast. Great stuff to have around the house for fixing/making things.

  • oh man i have to repair a leaking elbow that is on the corner of the wall any advice on how to do it?

  • Thanks Oscar for the tip. After watching this video, I knew exactly what I needed for the job. How long do we wait till the glue is completely dry. Your English is fine. I saw many videos and yours was easy enough.

  • first im sorry about my english i`m latino so i can not write very well

second : i will give you an advise you must not let the glue drip on both sides of the pipe cause the glue cuts the border of the pipe and later it will star to broke and there starts the leak

    thanks

  • Yes it is dangerous but not as dangerous as you think.

These safety & health concerns are yes important to take note of but don't be too concerned. It wont burn your skin when it touches its more of a refreshing hit but if you have open wounds boy does it hurt for about 10 seconds.

  • Very informative, I didn't know that the glue would expend and push the pipes apart. Very good.

  • Excellent Video. Very short and to the point. Did not know that the primer was so dangerous...Thank You
