if you or any relative of yours has ever been in a car crash and survived because of minimal safety standards, you can thank Ralph Nader, and don't call him an idiot. I'm alive because of Ralph Nader, and I bet you know and care about someone who is too.

Completely not true, we have a minority government so the NDP (third party) as well as the Block have influence.

I understand that. I don't think a lot of people really want him to be president. But, if someone disagreed with the bailout, don't support our nation's endorsement of Israel's policy, want corporate lobbyists out of DC, and want to stop the military industrial complex, then you are left out. These aren't radical positions. They are progressive. And the Democratic party is a Center-left party, not a progressive one. What are people left with? Too bad laws exist to choke other ideas out.

Third Party does not work. Come to Canada and figure it out. People who support far right or left wing parties are IDIOTS. However, those who actualy look at what is going and vote either for a more liberal or a more conservative government actualy don't waist their votes. people who become emotionaly charged and vote for idiots cause things liek WW2 and the Soviet Union. Please, read up about how your country works. Nader is an idiot an COMPLEATLY out of touch with how things work.
