Computer Build Summer 2009

Decided to build a computer for my first time! My friends Neil and Amit helped me put it together. Altogether the computer cost me $620. All parts ordered from tigerdirect.com.

Sorry no specs on DVD/CD drive since it was a left over from my other computer.

I have the same board and graphics card, and I just finished putting it together, but when I try to boot, I get no video. Everything is connected, and the GPU is connected to the PSU... wtf am I doing wrong?

There's many of different factors that could be wrong; Hard drive failure, defected pci slot, etc. so I really wouldn't know sorry.

after you have all parts to build the computer what is the average time for assembling the whole thing?

@asianette hi dude i have that problem too, but the graphic card is a xfx gts 250 1gb ddr3, and happened the same when i try to boot , i get no video :( , and everything is connected too , neither do I wtf am i doing wrong : S ? if you already solved the problem , please dude let me know and help me , thnx :)

@asianette do you have onboard video? if you have onboard video you need to hook your video cable to that then boot to it, if you get vedio that way you need to disable your onboard graphics

@asianette who knows man. I put in a new memory kit and mine wouldn't boot. Turned out to be the brand new ram I bought was faulty from the factory. Make sure you go over everything.

I have that same case with one of my computers, tip to make it look even nicer, strip it apart and pait the inside completly flat black looks amazing ;]
