http://ASTF.TK The desktop replacement is heavy, large, and designed for heavy gaming and cpu and memory intensive applications and is not designed to be carried around in a backpack or any other type of sack.

A notebook is a little smaller and lighter and is around 4-6 pounds. This is the average laptop seen in stores for around 400 -700 dollars. It's a little slower but it has all the funcionality of a desktop replacement (which is expensive).

A netbook is light at around 1.5 - 3 pounds and is designed for internet surfing but can do a lot of other things such as light gaming, video editing, etc.

A smartbook is small, compact, weak, and energy efficiant and above all EXTREMELY CHEAP. around 100 dollars for the cheapest windows CE versions and basically runs the most basic of built in applications and often uses arm processors.

  • what does embedded mean can u tell me friend

  • @WinbookXL3

It means that it is a small compact OS that is included as a part of a whole device. Some examples are MP3 players, cell phones, etc.

These 7 inch netbooks are essentially cell phones with a big screen and keyboard.
