@GwensMagic Dolphin can't really save up for clothes. In the book, she got her dress from a charity shop, and it was meant to have stars on it, and it was her magic "witch" dress, and in school when people make her angry, she imagines she's casting a spell on them, that's why you see the cuts in the film of goo falling on the girl's head and stuff (:

@thediaryofjayne I got it from Channel 4 Learning Its called the Jacqueline Wilson Trilogy and includes this, the Double Act film and a documentary about Jacqueline Wilson.
It was £39.00 but around £50 with VAT because its made for schools.

@anna1caroline2 I think in the book it explains that Star saves up for clothes but Dolphin has no money.
