Reilly is.. how should I put this.. personal vision of Larten. And yeah, I cried my eyes out when he died and now I started to read the books again. No, it will not change - I cried when Arra and Gavner died but I didn't when Kurda did.

This series is extremely emotional... I remember reading it long ago and reading it again today. Even watching this and reading the comments made my cry. Darren Shan, you sure know how to make book readers cry...

the same thing happened to me i was told he dies and i was in tears when he started to fall i had to put it down and go find something to dry my eyes with. when i finaly picked it up again i was like yes..yes... he doesn't die and then it was a daydream tip thing i was so mad... y did he have to give us fulse hope? wait why did he have to make mr clepsley die?

i hate the chapter when it says mika came and saved him. i knew from comments that he was going to die before i even read the 9th book, so that chapter gave me hope that was torn apart when it said "no, thats not how it happened....... Mr crepsley dropped. he was impaled on the stakes. he died. and it was awful.........his cries as he writhed there, bleeding and dying, burning and screaming, will stay with me till i die. maybe ill even carry them with me after i go" that was sooo sad
