this whole album sounds a lot like jimi hendrix. thats a good thing BTW(buckethead is a better guitarist, its nice to see a little tribute action)

The album doesn't sound like hendrix, and it is not a tribute. Buckethead and hendrix are completely different and I think it is a grand injustice to state unequivocally that buckethead is a better guitarist.

I still think that it is a disservice to all guitarists (and the instrument) to compare the two. They are almost as different as two artists on the same instrument come.

I guess you're the type of person who could look at buckethead and compare him to a guy like joe pass and state that buckethead is a better guitarist. I've got no respect for such an opinion.

I respect the 'validity' of the statement you make in general, but I reject it as a practical assertion that it is okay to directly compare artists just because they share an instrument.

Just like it's pointless to compare buckethead to a classical pianist, it's pointless to compare buckethead to hendrix, and worse yet, to make quick conclusions about who is 'better'.
