Aspiring chefs channeled their inner chef in a chance to compete in a Julie & Julia inspired cooking contest at Mall of America®. Contestants sumbited their best quiche recipes and the top five were chosen to compete at the Mall July 28. This contest put their culinary skills to the test as they made two dishes based on ingredients provided by Dreamfields Pasta and Goldn Plump.
The grand prize winner will design and create a five-course meal with CRAVE Executive Chef Eli Wollenzien and his team. The meal will be served to the winner and five guests at the chefs table, valued at more than $750.
"Julie and Julia" will start showing at Theatres at Mall of America Aug. 7.
