There are many festivals in Bhutan but most are religious and its significance profoundly symbolic. Tsechus are the main festivals in which the dances are performed by both laymen and monks and held annually. Masked men in serene and wrathful forms swirl around, every step imbibed with profound spiritual meanings. It is one time of the year when the Bhutanese prove their religious fervor and also a time to take out their best ornaments, ghos and Kiras....
