No you fucking numbnuts. It's not dead AND it doesn't cut off the oxygen either. I couldn't count the number of pheasants I have put asleep doing this. It is sensory deprivation to its eyes and disorientation; the bird actually gets very calm and its breathing gets very relaxed. When its breathing gets relaxed, you can plant it and it will sit tight like a freezing cold day; just snoozing.
