@poolboyinla, the point was that it becomes affordable for SCHOOLS where teenagers might have the opportunity to engage in a media studies program. Not as a personal electronics purchase, you're right!

It's not. But it's a helluva lot less than what came before it.

And, if its something you have a passion for, then it's a good investment. Some people would pay that much for a pleasure boat, or for something that is needed for their hobby.

Thats still not really affordbale for teenagers and kids or really most people.
