The kitchen is way too small to get every angle. Don't blame the TV shows, blame the people and TV stations that want the DRAMA. American TV is what it is. Unfortunately that's how it is :/ Everything must be dramatic or they lose interest. God forbid it's actually educational and or straight forward.

Another good catch from an avid TV viewer, I credit you for that.
However, I always find it disquieting when people take TV so seriously and start complaining about it being fake. Of course a lot of things are fake. This is not a security camera tape being used as evidence in court, so big deal.
Nobody comments on the background music being fake, however I doubt there is a full orchestra following everyone around in the restaurant.

Kitchen Nightmares, the UK version was an incredible program. The American version is so crap, exactly the same format every time, loads of emotional hype crap. Bring back the UK stuff!
