  • It sounds like you need a Female to Female straight through, which is pin 1 to pin 1. Go to Whatacable website and search item DB9FF-06.

  • You say pin one to pin one. I was told to get a female to female straight through. I have check the internet and no one shows a diagram! You say 1 to 1. When you lay the cord out, the number 1 pin goes to the opposite corner. Could you show the cord and show the pin layout to make it clear? I think I have the wrong cord! It may seem clear to you, but number 1 to number 1 when you are using different ends is confusing!
