@JohnnyB1038 Hi JohnnyB - I'm sorry but you are mistaken. My grandfather Jack had one child, mother to me and my brother and sister. He can't be your great grandfather but I wonder if you are related by some other line of the family?

@sharonbw Thanks for responding Sharon. My great grandfathers real name was John Gaurente, he used Jack Daly as his stage name.

I've been trying to get the record of Jack Daly singing Danny Boy for years.
My Irish father knew him personally and this particular song always brings back memories of him.
