  • In regards to effciency, a key indicator to a nations competitiveness, the U.S.A is still fairly average for a Western nation. Many of the European countries such as Germany and the Netherlands are far better in this regard. It is for these reasons I see this report as a biased and conviently manipulated way to represent the U.S.A as the "most competitive country."

  • A very informative video, and interesting. Thanks for uploading

  • Check out The underlying law of nature. Bing or Google it. Discovered relatively recently, it is possibly the world's most useful knowledge. One of countless reasons–its understanding and application is the most effective and efficient means to improve the performance of any process.

  • I have seen porters videos when he is young & doing a lot of live research. Today he still exhibits the same energy and passion towards explaining strategy....... lets feel fortunate to be his contemporaries.

  • Jeah

  • Great point. The GDP question here is pivotal to this country comparisons.

    Thanks for posting.

  • 3 of his well-known books: The competitive advantage of nations, Competitive advantage and Competitive strategy.

  • This is a ridiculously unfair report. It is a report that grossly misrepresents the truly competitive countries. The U.S.A for example recently came in number 1. This is despite of it's many import quotas and tariffs. It also seems absurd when you consider the population of the United States compared to a country like Australia or Canada. These two countries preform well above what the U.S.A, India or China would in GDP if they did not have the large populations that drive their economies.

  • MINKIA POOOOORTER!!! Esiste!....e sta meglio di tutti!!
