May 1,1999 Still and Box Alarm Fire at 1720 W Adams. This was back when Chicago was still using long coats and 3/4 length boots. Engines 103, 26, 14, 30 Trucks 7, 19 Tower 5 Batts 3, 6, 1 Squad 1 Ambulance 28 2-2-1 2-7-1

  • might I ask when you have seen this?

    the only people who still wear the 3/4 gear are OFI. there are very strict penatlys for not wearing the new gear (WITHA LL LINERS) which are very strictly enforced.

  • not al of them some of the older guys still have the 3 quarter boots and overcoats

  • NFPA got rid of the 3/4 style because it offered less protection.

  • i know it kinda looks like the same truck
