Jesse's Promotion to Major

Jesse Wentworth's promotion to Major, U.S. Army - 01Apr2009. Jesse is a graduate student at Old Dominion University, in Norfolk, VA. He will receive his Master's degree in International Studies, in December 2009. He has served three tours in Iraq/Kuwait, the last tour commanding an armed truck company, providing armed escort for convoys throughout Iraq. He brought all of his soldiers back safe and sound after a year of travelling over a million miles of some of the most dangerous roads in the world. I will embarrass him by stating that for this, he was awarded the Bronze Star. Needless to say, that we, his parents, are immensely proud of Jesse ....and ALL the military who deploy around the world to keep us safe. He was recently married (March 7th) to Kristen, the lovely lady to his left, who also proudly served in the Army as a Captain, and also did her time in the "desert". We are just as proud of her, as well.
