Thanks for the memories Don.Kernodle/Slaughter vs Steamboat/Youngblood was one the best tag team feuds in wrestling i'd ever seen,and drew alot of heat and money back in the early 80's

Don Kernodle was one of the most under-rated wrestlers in the world, IMO. I have seen him many times. He held the Mid-Atlantic tag team title with Jim Nelson, then the NWA World Tag Team Title with 3 different partners: Sgt. Slaughter, Bob Orton, Jr., and Ivan Koloff. A good tribute to Johnny Weaver, one of my all time favorites.
