Statement by H.E. Mr. Fredrik Reinfeldt, Prime Minister of Sweden.

United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon has convened a Summit on Climate Change on 22 September 2009 to focus Heads of State and Government on the need for urgent action on a global climate deal in Copenhagen this December. The Summit featured several innovative elements. Among them, all Heads of State and Government had the opportunity to send a video statement, like the one you're viewing now.

  • thats a retarded remark. It only proves that your mind is not capable of understanding how future non-fosil fuels could be used to feed our growing hunger fir energy

People like you argued before the industrialisation that we couldnt provide jobs for all

Naturally,it could slow down the pace of the super-natural growth that we have enjoyed for the past 100 years

but what's your alternative?keep on and kill the planet without Trying to save it...Now thats the definition of irresponsible

  • @magnusea Yet Sweden have been one of the countries that have survived the economic crisis best of all even though we have a lot of money going to renewable energy and high taxes on fossil fuel.

  • Eh? Hot air competition? My brain's melting by boredom despite large man made global warming is fraud.

90% of the primare energy in the world is fossil, and there's no way we can reduce fossil cosnsumption and have economic growth. this is a stupid and/or irresponsible political learder!
