toa mahri were not sent to get the mask of life,they went to save the toa nuva and they got cot in the fight

mask of light not life, the phantoka/mistika nuva were the ones fighting for the mask of life, plus the mahri/inika 2

no the turaga had the mask of light and when they got back to metru nui they sent the toa nuva minus takanuva off to get the mask of life to heal mata nui so he didn't die causing the entire world to die in flames and agony.
