This is Day 1. I just picked up this truck at the dealer and drove it around town for a while: it rocks!

nitrofilled tires are a gimmick

@UBBERTANKER Well, the dealer says they do NOT react to outside temperature changes as bad as the regular air-filled tires. That's a plus in my book, especially since I live in Ontario where it gets pretty cold in winter.

@MrDSty1113 I suggest starting with a tune. That'd be the best bang for the buck... Either a Hypertech or SCT.

By the way, just for the record - the XL model in the Ford F-150 lineup is the CHEAPEST available. Anyone can afford a truck with steel rims and manual windows, trust me. If I was rich, I'd order a Lariat or Harley Davidson Special Edition. In fact, this truck costs LESS than my previous Chevrolet Cobalt Sport 2.4 L! But I'm still extremely happy I've switched. It was totally worth it. The power of this 5.0 L V8 ... you gotta try it, guys ;)

I'm not saying I'll be getting a Persian wife ;) but it's all about having fun and having no regrets when you are old and ugly.

@UBBERTANKER Completely agree. I'm an auto tech. we check tire pressures of every vehicle that enters for a service. ALL tires lose air.. nitrogen or not. ALL tires change pressures with temp no matter what they're filled with.. BIG gimmick.

@smd5231 its a sleeper though no one will expect that 5.0. I got my 2011 FX4 supercrew with the 5.0 and i love it i was very suprised with the ride though theyve changed the suspension a bit for 2011 cuz ive driven and ridin in other fords and they dont ride as nice as mine does theyve definitly won me over. u have a very nice truck
