Wow, do u get tornadoes in australia? Thats one of my favorite places, and i've aways wondered. When you live in MO you have to be prepared for anything lol. ice storms one day, tornadoes the next. We had severe storms the day after christmas lol!

I was in school when this happened; I went to Camdenton High School. I remember our county getting a tornado warning then the sirens went off. Everyone was scared b/c we heard reports that a tornado was on the ground.

This tornado actually happended on my birthday, 9/22, and I was actually in the school that the tornado hit when it touched town. :) Scary stuff, let me tell you.

I know, we are from Australia and were too sh!t scared!! So my girlfriend stopped filming just as we saw the thing and sped away!
We saw it right next to us, I just wish we had filmed it though :(

Too bad you didn't get the tornado itself. My sister saw it touch down in the junkyard and it ripped part of the roof off her daughter's school. Later, one passed 200 yards north of my house and damaged some trees.

Hey, I know we were on Route 66 next to the interstate, when my girlfriend stopped filming, the tornado was right next to us on the left. Being from Australia we had no idea what to do, so we just freaked out and drove out of there as fast as we could...Seriously next to us were trees in the air etc. Looking back it would have been great to have filmed it all. :-)
