Filmed from the cab of a DMU, this trip from Gaerwen to Amlwch was run by the Lein Amlwch group to commemorate the 125th Anniversary of the opening of the line. Passenger and normal Goods trains finished in December 1964, but a service to Octel at Amlwch continued into the 90's.
This video has been speeded up by 500% and the sound removed. Apologies for the fly on the windscreen, I didn't notice it when I set the camera up.
Hopefully we may be able to travel on part if not all of this line in the not too distant future
