Thanks for this, found it looking at some crass vids. I'd like to say to some people who have posted negitave comments that keeping an open mind was one of the key elements of punk. punk is not a kind of music but an attitude which will always be with our youth in every generation. If you only have bad things to say about this then it just means your mind has turned to the very same set that punk is against.

People need to get over themselves, just cos it's a cover of crass doesn't mean it's instant sacrilege or something. As someone pointed out earlier if a band like Crass came out in the 00s they would probably be making electronic music anyway. This is a wicked interpretation from a brilliantly inventive album that plays with cliches and conventions in music and fucks them up in a really entertaining and danceable way.

Interesting, and the slower vocal delivery emphasizes the message much more. And I know the message is what matters, but I still hate the music. Electronic music and anarcho ideals already found the perfect combination the first time they met - industrial. I just like electro to be full of noise and nothing else though...

If Crass came out nowadays they probably would be making music that sounds like this so I don't see why people are complaining about the music.
This comment has received too many negative votes show

I grew up listening to Crass who showed me the inequalities of democracy and how power is maintained for the benefit of a minority of exploitative, meglomanic war mangerers.Well done to The Soft Pink Truth for this great reworking of a polemic that is more relevant now than ever. Hopefully in an age of electronica and politically apathetic youth this message will get through to a whole new generation who will start to question authority, resisit and fight back for there ever decreasing freedom.
