  • How expensive would a turnkey wood gasifier cost?

  • @Beardinc They are very expensive....probably 9-10k for a gasifier. Then you would need whatever you where going to run. You can build your own if you have some basic skills.

  • I live in Las Vegas Nevada, we don't get rain here. For the entire year we are lucky to get 3 to 5 inches. The closest water supply is Lake Mead, 50 milesaway.

I never thought about the dangers of running out of water because of modern technology, however, I do believe the shit is going to hit the fan and when it does I would really like to be prepared.

A rain barrel would collect dust, no water.

There must be a way of surviving when this happens. Do you think? Or am I a goner?

  • @GeriMills459 How much storage space do you have??? 55 gallon barrels that once held fruit juice sells for $7 each here. If you could find a source out there like this and they are easy to wash out store some in your house. Even 3 or 4 would give you some options if the water system goes down.

  • Can you do some vids of your woodburnig truck or generator? Info of how it is set up and operates and demo of the truck driving.

  • @Gunslinger69usa Go check out engineer775

  • Survivalism is an incredibly practical and necessary thing, but I've always perceived it as more of a subculture than anything else.

  • Exactly what I did. Costco sells a 4 foot tall and 20 feet long above ground pool. That is a lot of water, just don't forget the supplies to keep it clean. Also I am beginning hydro planting. Indoor buckets and uses water no dirt. For us desert dwellers this is a must. I will look into a place to live in Michigan.

If I can find a place for around 10 grand this may work. A safe house

  • @TheSonofthunder7 MAD only works if both sides have nukes. Already Obama disarmed our sub-based nukes, our land-based ones are next. Without nukes, we're toast. That's why he keeps pushing "a nuclear-free world" (We'll disarm, the other side won't). All of the Fed's really important stuff is buried underground and shielded from EMP (Cheyenne mountain, DUMBs, etc). We are being set up for sure dood.

  • @burnstagger I highly doubt that there will be any nukes used cause that right there is mutually assured distruction, even though the president may not do it some general will. as far as eletro magnetic pulse. I honestly believe it wont happen cause even the gooberment runs on computers and electricity. and theres no terrorist organization big enough to own something that large.

  • @RCqwertz wrol: Without Rule Of Law

  • Umm... When the EMP or nukes go off NONE of your vehicles will work because the electronics in them will be fried. Gas will do you NO good then. Bawahahaha!

  • what is WROL

  • My concern for you is your comment about so many like minded individuals coming to you for advice. These people could very well be a threat to you in the future if they don't take their own survival and preparations seriously.
