@WarGrowlmon18 In the story, Farraday, the scientist experimenting on David is also sent to prison for 50 years for other crimes he has commited.

@WarGrowlmon18 in te first place. At the end of the story, Marty and Doc encounter a grown up David who explains that he changed things using what he learned during his adventures and invites the group that sent him back to his time out for dinner with him to celebrate their victory.

@WarGrowlmon18 First David's still alive (they learned that he originally was supposed to die a few years after his return), so is Catledge as David was never there so the events following that never happened, but David turned over evidence of Catledge's wrong-doings to the police in his time and Catledge fell from power and was convicted of multiple crimes. With the fall of Catledge, Doc rises to prominence in the scientific community as it was Catledge's fault he was an outcast

@WarGrowlmon18 to become all powerful. Also among his cronies are the two main bad guys in Short Circuit. The group sends David back to his own time using a combination of Doc and Max's time travel technology and destroy Catledge's craft, the Overlorder, killing Catledge, Biff, Catledge's main goon Gately, Catledge's dog and Colonel Shroder from Short Circuit. David's return to the past fixes history and changes things in ways they didn't expect.

One of my favorite fanfiction stories is called Flight of the McFlyinator. It's a a crossover between this movie, Back to the Future, Short Circiut and Honey I Shrunk the Kids. Led by Doc, most of the charchters from each series team up together to send David back in time while battling Doc's worst enemy Doctor Dale Catledge and his cronies that include Biff. They spend the whole day battling Catledge and his nefarious plans for David and the ship which are to use its time travel technology

I LOVE this movie. This was my favorite part of it. I've actually got it on DVD. Found it at Blockbuster several years ago on a shelf and bought it.
