  • stock bottom end and whats the lift on that cam?

  • @PoliceNUPE1911 Yeah, it's a stock rebuilt bottom end and I believe lift was .644" intake/.613" exhaust.

  • were did you get your LQ4 at and how much horsepower n torque r u making... im lookin in to buy a Lq4 for my 01 ws6

  • @PerryFogg I got the shortblock from a member on LS1Tech. It had a fresh rebuild and he just had it sitting around and didn't plan to use it. The only time it was on a dyno, it had fuel issues, so they weren't able to tune it. But, the untuned, baseline runs, shutting it down at 5500-6000rpms, it made 420rwhp and 400lbft of torque. Once the fuel issues were fixed and it got tuned, it should've been close to 500rwhp. But, I got tired of dealing with the car and sold it.

  • Did you mill your heads any? Did you have to flycut the pistons?

  • @ramdaspadhye No, I didn't have the heads milled. And also didn't have to flycut the pistons.

  • boring drivebys, sounded good just lacked a lot of zazz

  • sounds so freakin great with the H pipe.

  • Thinking about using L92 heads on my LQ9. Good heads for the money.

  • i love your drive way haha

  • Nice sounding T/A man I'm in the process of swapping an LQ4/4L80E with MS3 cam and other goodies in my Camaro next month. I guess that since you didn't have to flycut your pistons running .644"/.613 lift you still have the stock comp ratio?

How much are you pushing to the tires?
