  • They definitely work if you're not playing in the same room people are watching tv in lol! It helps a lot and you can practice I would say at any time before midnight! : )

  • @danielblumedrummer thank you for explaining. I've got a problem then because i wanted to buy my first hi-hat to learn play closed/open (i can't learn that using anything else) but i live in an apartment. It seems like i'll have to think over it again.

  • @7snowdog That's true, because the rubber that goes on the hi hat involves both cymbals, so you play it just closed all the time. That's the point really, to use the sound off only to practice, and an open hi-hat would make noise, which is what the mute pad avoids.
