@bowser8375 I don't think Australians are trying to show how low class they are. They're just showing pride in this guy. I'd be annoyed if someone tried to claim Cillian Murphy from the Irish. Sure, he's an actor, it's different, but each country has their points of pride, and for some reason a lot of Americans assume anyone they see on TV is American. They even did it with Leona Lewis. Sheccent is CLEARLY from the UK, yet (some) Americans called her their own. It's not about class at all.
